What's new in Ovida (3 November 2026)
Last updated: November 3, 2026
The language menu now opens when you click it, dashboards follow the organisation you have selected, and avatar roleplay video settings move into the camera button.
New and improved
Dashboards follow your selected organisation. If you belong to more than one organisation, your individual and custom dashboards now show only the data from the organisation you have selected. Before, they combined your activity across every organisation you belong to.
The language menu opens on click. Click the language code at the top right of the screen (for example ENG) to open the list, then choose a language. It no longer opens when you hover, so it is no longer hidden by an accidental click.
Video settings in the camera button. In an avatar roleplay, open the camera button to reach your video settings. The microphone and camera buttons now respond more smoothly, and your self-view stays in step with them. Avatars also open the conversation with a more natural, consistent greeting.
Skills you have already launched are no longer offered again. The Available list on the Skills page, and the user list when you launch a skill for someone else, now leave out skills that are already active for that person. This removes the "You have this skill active already" message in those cases.
Clearer messages for links that no longer work. If you open a link to a skill, meeting or relationship that has been deleted or never existed, Ovida now shows a not-found message instead of an empty page.
Fixes and improvements
This release also fixes a number of smaller issues, including: session tabs now appear in French, Spanish and Greek; the support button moves to the correct side in right-to-left languages; the microphone level now shows in the Arabic audio test; and many others.
