Why won't my meeting video play?

If your meeting recording won't play, it's usually a network or browser restriction, not Ovida itself.

Some workplaces have strict security settings on their local networks that block videos from playing inside web apps. If you can't view your meeting recordings on Ovida, it's often this rather than a platform issue.

Try these fixes

  1. Ask your IT administrator to whitelist Ovida in your organisation's firewall, or to exempt your device from the restrictions. They can share this whitelisting guide if they need it.

  2. Try a different network. If IT support isn't immediately available, log into Ovida from a personal or mobile network to bypass your workplace's filters.

  3. Check your browser. Make sure it's up to date and that autoplay and media playback are enabled. Local browser settings can sometimes block video playback.
