Can I use Ovida with Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet?

Ovida is built around its own video rooms. Uploading recordings from other platforms isn't supported as a standard service.

We do not support uploading Zoom, Teams, or Meet recordings to Ovida as a standard service. Uploading third-party video recordings for AI analysis without explicit, informed consent from every participant breaches privacy laws in most jurisdictions and creates significant legal and regulatory risk.

Enterprise upload via API

For Enterprise customers, we do offer bulk upload of recordings via API, but only where:

• You have clear, auditable processes for securing informed consent from all meeting participants before uploading.

• You have the technical resources (such as a development team) to manage API-based automation.

Why Ovida uses its own video rooms

Ovida's meeting rooms are controlled, hosted, recorded, and managed within our platform. This is the only way we can provide the privacy and security guarantees we make.

We also record meetings in a proprietary format that's optimised for our analytics. We get more accurate transcripts and more granular insight than third-party recordings allow.
